Yep...I had some growing up to do, and she was already grown up...I knew that if we stayed together, I'd only hurt her more, so I did what I thought was the right thing at the time, and broke it off. Now I think to myself "Um, you could have just grown up, dumbass."

So, I have been told...it was with a friend who wanted a relationship....but I told him that I just wanted to be friends....he saw me years later with my hubby and sent me an email that was really hurtful....he is a good man..but I just didn't think of him that way...I am not into fwb relationships and the male friends that I do have...they are completely platonic.

Unfortunately, yes I have broken many hearts. It's uncontrollable, people fall and you can't make them feel better once they've let their guards down and you don't feel the same about them anymore and you want to move on.

Yes, although their heart was broken because they couldn't keep treating me the way they wanted to and have me stick around too...so I left, and it broke their heart---but they sort of deserved it. I still sympathize with them, though.

Yes, I did : (

I was scared of the committment and my feelings for him, so I started distancing myself. We lived in the same small town though, and I would run into him everywhere. It killed me to see him so sad, he just wasn't himself...and we had only dated a month.

Eventually we got back together though because I realized what a mistake I had made, and luckily he took me back. We've been together 3 years since then : )

Yes, at least twice. Sadly, - looking back I realize that both times involved the only people who were half decent to me in the relationship (most of the time, at least). I would do things differently, given the chance today.

Possibly but not intentionally. There are some men that want you to be much more than just a close or good friend, but they just don't appeal to you to want to be more than just that.
