I'm looking for a good novel to read...doesn't have to be recent...but possibly a good one involving relationships, independence or just something good. What do you guys recommend?

Sophia Kinsella (I think thats the spelling) she's famously popular, but I've only read one of her books "Remember Me?". It was a good quick read.

Read it in 2 days, but I didn't really put it down, I was wasting away on the beach reading. :D

This isn't really along those lines, but Grimms Memorial. That is the BEST book I have ever read. It is a horror, drama, suspense, comedy, romance, everything rolled up into one GREAT book. Or you could try Phantoms by Dean Koontz, Salem's Lot and The Stand by Stephen King.

"The Other Boleyn Girl" by Philippa Gregory. I'm only about halfway through it, but I love it.
