The answer would depend on who the people are that you don't feel like you can completely be yourself around. If it's your family, parents, etc. it could be that you feel you have a role to play (the sweet, accommodating, agreeable girl). Maybe you worry that if you were otherwise around them, they would be disappointed in you. Be yourself around everyone, life's too long to pretend to be something you are not.
