I trust it 100%. Unfortunately, there are rare times I choose to ignore it. I have no idea why though since my gut instinct is ALWAYS right. Perhaps it has something to do with fear?

100% and timely questions as I just wrote a short story and entered it for publication this week on what one thing was the best advice your mother ever gave you -- They will be published online all this week. My dear, departed mother of almost four years told me, "Trust your first instinct as it is almost always true". I have found thru my 48 1/2 years this to be true. Good luck to you in all life has to offer.

A Creative (Male, Washington, DC, 29-35, Technical) answered:

Well....
Through my lifetime, it varies.

When I was a kid it was more like 98%

As I grew up and accepted correction everywhere it would be 50% and the other 50% is looking at the situation and options and deciding from there

When I got divorced it was like 20%

Now it's more like 78% and growing as I get more comfortable in my skin.

:D hope this helps!

Very much. Listening to that little inner voice that tells me things to do/ or not to do, and about people has worked in my favor for most of my life.

A few times I have disregarded it, to my demise.

My intuition is batting 99.9%...so even when I don't want to trust it, I've found that I should have because it's on the spot. I've got many people who are a lil afraid of my intuition, and get angry with me at times for it. But, it's what I've got. So, what I'm saying is, I trust it, but I really do try to ignore it so that I don't run my life by it 100%. Feel I need to make those mistakes to learn lessons and grow to be a stronger person =)
