Say something about it or just leave it alone?

A Trendsetter (Female, Who Cares?, Student) asked:

So today is Mothers Day anyway I started thinking about my s/o and thinking about my mother. We don't know each others mother but still I always ask him how is his mother doing and blah blah blah but I realized he never asks about how mine is doing. Should I bring this to his attention or leave it alone?

I don't think it's a "guy" thing to ask about mothers. I'm sure some do, but after you TELL him your mom is doing good too, I'd just leave it at that. If he gets the idea - good, if not, no biggie. That's him.

If it really bothers you, I would say something. But if it doesn't I wouldn't worry about it. Sooner or later he'll come around. =0)

You are a smart girl, at least it appears that way from the quality of the questions you ask, so I think you already know the answer... but because I got a big mouth and just can't keep iit shut I will expound and wax poetic anyway.. LOL

If he doesn't know your mother, it feels like bogus platitudes and specious solicitation to be asking after her health... You see?? probably a guy thing.

How long have you guys been together? If it's been a long time, bring it up... if not, leave it alone for now.
